Online Reservation
1-How can I make online reservation?
You can choose the online ticket option on CTA’s web site and start your reservation process.
2-For which destinations can I make an online reservation?
You can make online reservations to every point where CTA has direct and transit flights.
3-Can I make an online reservation on CTA’s website and then buy my tickets? How?
Yes, you can buy your ticket following an online reservation by choosing the ticketing option; then you receive your reservation and are given a deadline automatically. When you are buying your ticket online you can click on the hold reservation link, make a reservation, and then get an option until a date which is stated by the system.
4-Will the ticket price be taken from my credit card immediately?
After your reservation details are approved, on the ‘confirmation’ screen the ticket price will be displayed and the money will be taken from your credit card. You will see on your credit card statements that the money has been transferred from your account.
5-How can I get a price on your website for my flight?
After entering your reservation information, you will see a window showing seat availability to your destination. When you proceed to the third page your flight price will be calculated according to your choices. After choosing your travel/flight information you will then see two choices at the bottom of the online ticketing page – those of time and schedule. Make your choice and the flight price will appear.
Ticketing
1-What is an electronic ticket?
This is a system which cuts down on paper ticket usage. CTA started using electronic
ticketing on 5th October 2007. All the ticket information is kept on the system
electronically, and you are given a ‘travel document’ containing all the information
you require during the sales transaction. Reservation and payment are carried
out in the same way as with a paper ticket, and you can check-in with your
TRNC id, passport or citizenship document - whether or not you bring the ‘travel
document’ you have received.
2-What kind of identification should one present?
You are to present a TRNC identity card, citizenship document or a passport.
3-How is the deadline for buying the tickets determined?
According to the date and time you make your reservation, your payment deadline is given according to pre-determined rules by the system.
4-Where can I buy my ticket?
You can buy your ticket at CTA travel agents and from our sales offices.
5-Which credit cards can I pay with?
On our web site only VISA and Euro/Master card is acceptable. Also during
certain periods you can benefit from and instalment plan in arrangement with
selected banks. This can only be arranged at CTA sales offices. There is no
instalment possibility on our website.

2-What is my baggage allowance?
The baggage allowance for our passengers travelling to Turkey is 20 kg, and
for those travelling to Europe it is 20 kg. And no single item should exceed
32kg. Any item exceeding 32 kg will not be transported.
Hand luggage accepted in the cabin must not be heavier then 5 kg, and should
be no bigger then 56 x 45 x 25 cm.
Golf and Scuba Diving Equipments have a 10 kg extra baggage allowance - and
thus are transported free of charge.
Reservations
1-How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation at CTA sales offices, travel agents or on our website.
2-How can I find out if my stand by flight has been confirmed?
You can find this out from the travel agents, CTA reservation or sales offices - whichever you made your reservation with.
3-What does class refer to?
The class represents the verified prices and price system of the CTA flights without any difference in the service or seats.
4-Why is there a price difference according to differing reservation arrangements?
Although on the plane there is no difference in the service or the seating with CTA, different prices are applied according to time before take off. The capacity for a class can easily be filled due to high demand for that flight, and at the same time there can be places with different prices in other classes. Therefore, in the reservation system you can find seats/places in the lowest price category that are available on the day of your journey.
5-If there is a change in my flight will I be informed?
You will be informed of any changes through your contact number. Our reservation unit will contact you and offer you alternatives. Do not forget to give your contact numbers to our personnel.
