Are you travelling to the UK?
If you are carrying food products you should check the rules in advance. It
is illegal to take meat or dairy products to the UK from a non-European country.
Also not permitted are fish, shellfish, eggs, honey and certain plants and
vegetables.
These controls on foods being brought into the UK are in place to protect the
agriculture and the environment of the country, and to protect your health
from contagious diseases which are not present in the UK.
Check the rules here: http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/illegal/default.htm
Checking before you travel could save you being fined, prosecuted or delayed.
