CTA operations are conducted at Ercan Airport in North Cyprus
CTA is authorized by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority along with the JAR-145 Flight Service Authority. The area of CRS authority is limited by the needs determined by MOE. The authority number of CTA at the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority is TR-00007.
CTA applies the periodic maintenance that falls within its remit at Ercan Airport. This is:
* Transit maintenance
* Daily maintenance
* Problem fixing
* Maintenance/servicing
CTA’s main technical services assets are based at Ercan Airport.
CTA organizes its technical operations in accordance with CMP maintenance of aircraft programs such as are approved by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority at Ercan Airport.

The mission of CTA is to offer travel and transport services under the TRNC's flag in accordance with the aims below:
* Meeting the travel needs of the citizens of North Cyprus, taking them to other countries by air.
* Organising chartered and scheduled to and from Cyprus to thereby stimulate the economy, particularly relating to tourism, of the TRNC.
* Providing the support services required by the air transport sector in North Cyprus.
* Organising direct flights to countries other than Turkey, insomuch as this can be achieved, in order to break out of the isolations imposed on the TRNC and to promote direct trade.
* Registering and being accepted within international civil aviation authorities under the name Cyprus Turkish Airlines, and to carry the flag also in the event of a settlement in Cyprus.
