CTA was a sponsor for the April 23 celebrations

Within the framework of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations, Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTA) became a sponsor for the transportation and clothes of the visitors that came to our island from all around the world, including the performance teams from Turkey.
The visitors were composed of 13 teams from 10 different countries consisting of a total of 28 children and 20 instructors. They visited the Cyprus Turkish Airlines General Director Chief Pilot Ahmet Akpınar and thanked for the contributions of CTA to the celebrations.
Our General Director Chief Pilot Ahmet Akpınar said that the whole CTA staff was proud to be a part of the celebrations on this very special day which was gifted to the children of the world by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Minister of Economy and Tourism visited CTA

Erdoğan Şanlıdağ, the Minister of Economy and Tourism of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) visited CTA on March 25. Şanlıdağ, the Minister of Economy and Tourism of the TRNC got together with Mustafa Candanal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and with the rest of the board. During his visit, Şanlıdağ commented that CTA, our national airlines, is one of the most important institutions of the TRNC and has become a more important institution in connecting the island with the rest of the world. Şanlıdağ exchanged information with our Board of Directors on the subjects of the important role of the Cyprus Turkish Airlines,  the relation of the Turkish Cypriots with the wider world and the tourist inflow to North Cyprus.

The Turkish Cypriot students in Britain visited CTA

The Turkish Cypriot Students Association (KITÖB) established by the Turkish Cypriot students in Britain visited the Cyprus Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board of Directors.
A group of KITOB members came together with the CTA Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Candanal at our Lefkoşa General Directorship Building. During their visit, the Turkish Cypriot students shared their opinions and proposals regarding the CTA flights in-between North Cyprus and Britain.

CTA participated at the 9th Tourism Week

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Tourism Club of EMU organized together the 9th Tourism Week celebrations which took place on March 28.
Cyprus Turkish Airlines participated at the 9th Tourism Week by opening a stand which attracted great attention. During the activities of the tourism week, a lottery was also organized among the visitors and the six winners were given free tickets for CTA flights on Ercan-Turkey-Ercan route.
